Our School Core Values, which promote British Values are:
These were formulated by the staff team, including the School Council.
In February 2007 the school was judged 'Outstanding' by Ofsted Inspectors. Since then, following annual review, we have maintained our grading of Outstanding.
Our School Mission Statement
We teach children to take positive, proactive responsibility for thinking about their own behaviour and learning, thinking about how to learn together.
Stourfield Infant School achieves this by delivering a broad, balanced and nurturing curriculum.
Together we encourage confident, self motivated children, who enjoy learning, through an enhanced curriculum.
N.B. Please note that these aims were formulated in consultation with parents, children, staff, Directors and members of the wider community who actively support Stourfield Infant School.
Our Academy Status
On 1st October, 2012, the school converted to Academy status. All outstanding or good schools can do this without need of a Sponsor. The Directors are responsible for the strategic development of the school and operate as Stourfield Infant Academy Trust.
